We're looking for a creative and curious Junior Designer to join our team. Someone who lives and breathes social media visuals and is excited about the future of AI-generated video.
The Role
As a Junior Designer at CMT, you'll create eye-catching visual content across the full spectrum of agency work, social media, branding, digital campaigns, web, presentations, and print. While exploring the cutting edge of AI-powered video creation.
Expect roughly 70% graphic design and 30% AI video work. You'll collaborate closely with our in-house videographer: AI video at CMT complements traditional production, it doesn't replace it. This is a hands-on role where you'll design content for real brands, experiment with the latest AI tools, and grow your skills alongside a supportive creative team. If you're early in your career but big on creativity and curiosity, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design: Create engaging designs for social media, digital campaigns, branding, websites, presentations, print, and other client projects. We're a full-spectrum agency, so the work is varied.
AI Video Creation: Produce short-form video content using AI video generation tools (e.g., Runway, Pika, Kling, Sora, Veo, Higgsfield, or similar), from prompt crafting to final polish.
Trend Awareness: Keep up with social media design trends, meme formats, and emerging AI creative tools, and bring fresh ideas to the table.
Collaboration: Work with the wider creative team to bring campaign concepts to life.
Organization: Manage multiple small projects at once while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
Skills & Experience
Solid foundation in graphic design (composition, typography, color, layout) across digital and print.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (After Effects or Premiere Pro is a plus).
Hands-on experience with AI video generation tools, you've experimented, created, and can show us the results.
Familiarity with AI image generation (Midjourney, Nano Banana / Gemini, GPT Image, Adobe Firefly, or similar) is a plus.
Arabic typography and bilingual (AR/EN) layout skills are a strong plus.
Basic video editing skills for trimming, captioning, and formatting short-form content.
A portfolio showcasing your design work and at least one AI-generated video.
Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and grow in a fast-paced agency environment.
0–2 years of experience. Fresh graduates with strong portfolios are welcome to apply.
