We are looking for an experienced Asset Management Manager to lead the Asset Management Unit within Treasury & Capital Markets. This role will be responsible for managing client relationships, developing investment strategies, monitoring financial markets, and supporting the growth of the Bank’s asset management activities.
What You’ll Do
- * Lead the Asset Management Unit’s day-to-day activities, strategy, performance, and annual targets in coordination with the T&CM Executive Director.
- Build and manage strong relationships with clients, understand their investment objectives and risk appetite, and recommend suitable investment and portfolio strategies.
- Promote asset management products and investment solutions across relevant client segments and business lines.
- Execute client investment orders while ensuring compliance with approved policies, limits, and procedures.
- Support the Bank’s proprietary trading activities and monitor key market drivers, risks, limits, and performance.
- Develop and structure new and customized investment products and portfolio rebalancing strategies.
- Generate regular investment ideas and recommendations based on market conditions and client requirements.
- Manage relationships with local and international financial institutions and negotiate competitive pricing and commercial terms.
- Monitor local and international financial markets and conduct research, economic analysis, and investment assessments.
- Provide market and investment insights to support business and investment decisions.
- Work closely with regulators, internal control functions, and other business units to ensure compliance and effective information sharing.
What We’re Looking For
- * Strong experience in Asset Management, Treasury & Capital Markets, Investment Management, or a related area.
- Strong knowledge of treasury and capital markets, banking products, investment products, policies, and procedures.
- Solid understanding of local and international economies, financial markets, investment strategies, and financing techniques.
- Strong financial, economic, research, portfolio analysis, and risk assessment skills.
- Excellent planning, organization, communication, leadership, and time management skills.
- Ability to make sound investment decisions and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
Required CertificationsCandidates must hold the required certifications under CMA licensing requirements, or equivalent qualifications:
- Global Securities
- Global Financial Derivatives
- Business Conduct
CFA certification is a plus.
