We are looking for an MEP Engineering Intern to join our engineering team and support the design and preparation of technical documentation for HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
This internship is intended for a motivated engineering student or recent graduate looking to gain practical experience in MEP engineering and building services design.
The internship may lead to a permanent employment opportunity based on performance, skills and mutual interest.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of MEP shop drawings for HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Develop and update technical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Assist with the preparation of detailed plans, sections, schematics and installation drawings.
- Assist engineers in preparing engineering calculation notes for HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Participate in the preparation of technical documentation for construction and execution phases.
- Assist with the coordination of MEP systems with architectural and structural disciplines.
- Review drawings and incorporate technical comments and project revisions.
- Support the engineering team in the development of MEP projects from design through execution.
- Work independently on assigned tasks while maintaining regular communication with the engineering team.
Profile
- Student or recent graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in HVAC, plumbing and MEP engineering.
- Basic to good knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit – required.
- Knowledge of AutoFluid is a strong advantage.
- Previous academic or professional exposure to projects in France is preferred.
- French language proficiency is preferred.
- Basic understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Good analytical and technical skills.
- Motivated, curious and willing to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
