Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Junior Account Manager with previous experience working with NGOs, development organizations, or social impact projects and agency to join our team.
The ideal candidate will support the day-to-day management of client accounts, coordinate between clients and internal teams, and ensure projects and deliverables are executed smoothly, accurately, and on time.
This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of the specific communication needs and sensitivities associated with NGO and development-sector projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of assigned client accounts, with a focus on NGO and social impact projects.
- Act as a key point of coordination between clients and internal creative, content, digital, and production teams.
- Receive client briefs and translate them into clear, actionable internal tasks.
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, status reports, and project updates.
- Follow up on deliverables, feedback, approvals, and deadlines.
- Coordinate social media calendars, campaigns, reports, events, and communication materials.
- Review deliverables before sharing them with clients to ensure accuracy and alignment with the brief.
- Support the development of presentations, proposals, reports, and communication plans.
- Maintain organized records of briefs, feedback, approvals, timelines, and final deliverables.
- Understand and respect NGO communication guidelines, terminology, beneficiary sensitivities, and donor requirements where applicable.
- Support event, campaign, and field-activity coordination when required.
- Build strong and professional relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Flag potential delays or challenges early and support the team in finding solutions.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in account management, client servicing, communications, or project coordination.
- Previous experience working with an NGO, INGO, UN agency, development organization, or NGO-focused communications account is highly preferred and agency.
- Experience in a communications, advertising, digital, or creative agency is a strong advantage.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
- Good understanding of social media and digital communications.
- Comfortable preparing presentations, reports, meeting minutes, and client updates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required; French is a plus.
