Product Manager
Location: Remote (Lebanon)
Availability: Immediately available
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Product Manager to own product direction, roadmap, prioritisation, and scope across SupportRoom and VAI.
You will connect business needs, customer feedback, and the technology team. You will work closely with the CEO, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Backend, Frontend, and Design teams to ensure development is focused on the right priorities and that leadership has clear visibility of what is being built, why, progress, risks, and blockers.
This role requires strong technical confidence. You do not need to be a developer, but you must be able to understand technical discussions, ask the right questions, assess constraints and dependencies, create clear specifications, and communicate technical information to non-technical leadership.
The Product Manager owns what we build, why we build it, and what comes next. The technical team owns how it is built.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product roadmap across SupportRoom and VAI.
- Set priorities and make clear trade-offs across competing product and development requests.
- Gather and analyse feedback from Sales, Marketing, customers, and prospects to identify genuine product opportunities.
- Translate business and customer needs into clear product requirements and actionable development scopes.
- Define the problem, objective, priority, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and definition of done for new initiatives.
- Ensure development work is properly scoped and prioritised before reaching the technical team.
- Work with Backend, Frontend, and Design leads to understand feasibility, effort, dependencies, risks, and technical constraints.
- Maintain clear visibility of priorities, progress, upcoming work, expected delivery, risks, blockers, and dependencies across both products.
- Identify, follow up, and help resolve bottlenecks, blockers, dependencies, and conflicting priorities.
- Communicate changes in priorities, scope, or timelines to relevant leaders and teams.
- Provide concise product and development reporting to Operations and senior leadership, translating technical progress into clear business-level updates.
- Work across Jira, ClickUp, and other product and development tools used by the team.
- Continuously evaluate customer needs, product performance, business priorities, and development capacity to improve the roadmap.
Technical Requirements
You should be comfortable working directly with developers and able to:
- Understand backend and frontend architecture at a practical product-management level.
- Understand RESTful APIs, integrations, databases, authentication, and technical dependencies.
- Understand software development workflows, Git, environments, releases, testing, and deployment at a practical level.
- Discuss technical requirements and trade-offs confidently with developers.
- Understand the impact of changes to backend, frontend, databases, APIs, and third-party integrations.
- Ask the right technical questions and identify potential risks or dependencies.
- Review technical explanations and translate them into clear business-level updates.
- Understand AI-assisted development workflows and their impact on product requirements and delivery.
You are not expected to code in Python, PHP, or Laravel, but familiarity with these technologies is an advantage.
Requirements
- 4+ years of proven Product Management experience in SaaS, software, technology, or a similar environment.
- Experience owning product roadmaps, prioritisation, requirements, and product decisions.
- Strong experience working directly with software development teams and understanding the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear language for CEO, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and other non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to identify and follow up on bottlenecks, blockers, dependencies, and delivery risks.
- Strong reporting, organisational, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable working across multiple products and competing priorities.
- Proactive, organised, resilient, and able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
- Able to work independently, take ownership, challenge assumptions, and make clear decisions.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Figma, Notion, HubSpot, GitHub/GitLab, or similar.
- Experience with SaaS, B2B, AI, HR/workplace technology, or health/wellbeing products is an advantage.
What We’re Looking For
You should be able to confidently answer: What are we building? Why are we building it? Who is it for? What should we prioritise? Where are we now? What is blocking us? What is the technical risk? What needs to happen next?
You should be equally comfortable speaking with developers about APIs, databases, architecture, dependencies, and technical constraints, and speaking with leadership about business impact, progress, risks, and decisions.
What Success Looks Like
Within the first 6–8 weeks:
- A clear and prioritised roadmap exists for both SupportRoom and VAI.
- Leadership has reliable visibility of development without needing to chase developers.
- Significant development requests have clear scope, priority, requirements, dependencies, and definition of done.
- Risks, blockers, dependencies, and conflicting priorities are identified early and actively followed up.
- Technical information is translated into clear business-level reporting.
- The development team understands what needs to be delivered and why.
- Sales, Marketing, Operations, and leadership have a clear channel for product feedback and status.
- Product decisions are driven by customer needs, business priorities, data, and technical reality.
