Head of Landscape Department
Location: Nasr City,Cairo| Employment Type: Full-time
We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Landscape to lead our Landscape Department, ensuring technical excellence, design quality, team performance, and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Landscape Department, including resource planning, workload allocation, recruitment, coaching, and performance management.
- Lead and approve landscape design, technical documentation, specifications, BOQs, and design submissions.
- Ensure compliance with international standards, codes, authority requirements, and company QA procedures.
- Provide technical leadership across urban design, softscape, hardscape, and large-scale landscape projects.
- Coordinate with clients, project managers, authorities, and other disciplines.
- Support cost estimation, value engineering, tender/bid evaluation, and project delivery.
- Develop the technical capabilities and performance of the Landscape team.
Requirements
- 20+ years of Landscape Architecture / Landscape Engineering experience.
- Previous experience as a Landscape Department Head, Landscape Director, Discipline Lead, or equivalent.
- Strong experience in large-scale landscape, urban design, softscape, and hardscape projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture/Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of international standards, codes, QA/QC, specifications, BOQs, and value engineering.
- Excellent English communication and technical writing skills.
- Strong leadership, coaching, client management, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant landscape/design software.
