Creality is hiring a Cost Estimation Engineer to support cost estimation and quotation preparation for metal fabrication and road signage projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities to identify project requirements.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and estimate material, labor, equipment, and subcontracting costs.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and technical and commercial quotations.
• Coordinate with the technical office, production, and procurement teams to validate estimates.
• Maintain updated cost databases and monitor changes in material prices.
• Compare estimated and actual costs to improve future estimates.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience in cost estimation, preferably within metal fabrication or signage manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with AutoCAD.
