Job Title: Cost Accounting Section Head

We are seeking an experienced Cost Accounting Section Head to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction or contracting companies and proven expertise in project cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project cost accounting and ensure accurate cost allocation.
- Monitor project budgets, analyze cost variances, and support cost control initiatives.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, profitability analysis, and financial insights.
- Support month-end closing, financial reporting, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with Project Management, Procurement, Commercial, and Finance teams to ensure accurate project costing.
- Lead and develop the Cost Accounting team while driving process improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory or Section Head role.
- Mandatory experience in the construction, contracting, or engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of project accounting, job costing, budgeting, WIP, and cost control.
- Proficiency in Odoo ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
