Role Description The Chauffeur at ACAP INDUS is a full-time, on-site role based in Casablanca. The Chauffeur will safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and, when required, clients between designated locations while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Daily responsibilities include inspecting vehicles before and after trips, maintaining cleanliness and basic upkeep, and coordinating schedules and routes with the operations team to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. The Chauffeur will provide courteous customer service during all interactions, assist with loading and unloading when necessary, and accurately complete trip logs and related documentation. The role also involves reporting any mechanical issues, incidents, or delays promptly, and following company policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience operating trucks or similar commercial vehicles, with a valid and clean driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle class.
- Knowledge of transportation practices and truckload shipping processes, including route planning, safe loading, and secure transport of goods.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
- Understanding of basic operations management principles related to scheduling, documentation, and coordination with logistics or dispatch teams.
- Familiarity with local and regional traffic laws and regulations, especially within Casablanca and surrounding areas.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as operational needs require.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or a similar chauffeur/driver role is preferred.
