Role Description The Business Development Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Jordan, PA. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets that support HCAC’s accreditation, consulting, and training services. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market analysis, preparing proposals and presentations, and managing a pipeline of prospective clients and partners. The Business Development Officer collaborates closely with internal teams to design service offerings, develop pricing strategies, and ensure alignment with HCAC’s mission and standards. The role also involves maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, attending relevant events, and providing regular reports and forecasts to leadership on business performance.
Qualifications
- * Demonstrated skills in business development, sales, and partnership management, with the ability to identify and convert new opportunities.
- Experience in market research, data analysis, and strategic planning to inform growth initiatives and decision-making.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders, deliver proposals, and represent HCAC professionally.
- Proficiency in relationship management and customer service, with a focus on maintaining long-term client and partner engagement.
- Knowledge of health care systems, quality improvement, or accreditation environments; experience in the health or nonprofit sector is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Health Management, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfort with using productivity, CRM, and collaboration tools; strong proficiency in MS Office or similar software.
- Professional fluency in English; fluency in Arabic or other regional languages is highly beneficial.
