Role Description The Assistant role at McDonald’s Lebanon is a full-time, on-site position based in the Aley District. The Assistant supports daily restaurant operations, including welcoming customers, taking orders, handling payments, and ensuring accurate, timely service. This role assists in food preparation and assembly according to safety, hygiene, and quality standards, while helping maintain cleanliness across the dining area, kitchen, and service stations. The Assistant also contributes to inventory checks, restocking supplies, and coordinating with team members to fulfill customer requests efficiently. The position involves working closely with supervisors to follow operational procedures, support promotional activities, and uphold McDonald’s service and hospitality standards.
Qualifications
* Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact politely and clearly with diverse customers and team members.
* Basic numeracy and cash-handling abilities, including operating point-of-sale systems and managing transactions accurately.
* Attention to detail and organizational skills to follow food safety guidelines, maintain hygiene, and support smooth restaurant operations.
* Teamwork and adaptability, with the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment, take direction, and assist across different areas of the restaurant.
* Reliability and time management skills, including punctuality and readiness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
* Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or customer-facing roles is an advantage but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
* High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with a strong motivation to learn, grow, and build a career in the foodservice industry.
