Role Description This is an on-site Waiter role located in Musandam Governorate, Oman. The Waiter is responsible for welcoming guests, presenting menus, taking food and beverage orders, and serving meals and drinks in a timely and courteous manner. Daily tasks include setting up and clearing tables, ensuring cleanliness in the dining area, coordinating with kitchen staff, and checking that orders are accurate and presented according to resort standards. The role also involves answering guest questions, suggesting menu items, processing payments, and handling guest feedback or concerns professionally. The Waiter works as part of a team to maintain smooth restaurant operations and contribute to a positive guest experience.
Qualifications
* Strong customer service skills, with a friendly and professional approach to guest interaction.
* Experience or familiarity with food & beverage and food service operations in a restaurant or resort setting.
* Clear and effective communication skills for interacting with guests and coordinating with team members.
* Basic knowledge of cooking or kitchen processes to understand menu items and support order accuracy.
* Ability to stand for extended periods, carry trays, and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
* Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous experience in hospitality or a similar waiter/waitstaff role is an advantage.
* Basic English language skills required; additional language abilities are beneficial.
