About the role
CCHO is seeking a Health Policy Manager with a pharmacy background and a relevant master’s degree to support its health policy and HEOR consulting projects across the Middle East and North Africa.
Based in Beirut, the successful candidate will translate research and evidence into practical recommendations on pharmaceutical policy, healthcare financing, and access to medicines. The role combines policy analysis, project management, client engagement, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze pharmaceutical policies, including pricing, reimbursement, formulary management, procurement, and access to medicines.
- Review and compare regional and international policy frameworks to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Develop policy briefs, technical reports, white papers, proposals, and client presentations.
- Support projects involving health technology assessment, pharmaceutical expenditure, managed entry agreements, and value-based healthcare.
- Integrate findings from HEOR and real-world evidence into policy recommendations.
- Manage assigned project workstreams, ensuring clear timelines, high-quality deliverables, and effective client communication.
- Support stakeholder consultations, interviews, workshops, and advisory meetings with policymakers, payers, healthcare providers, and pharmaceutical companies.
- Collaborate with CCHO’s HEOR, RWE, and data analytics teams.
- Contribute to business development through proposal writing and identification of relevant policy needs and opportunities.
Qualifications and experience
- Degree in Pharmacy.
- Master’s degree in pharmaceutical policy, health policy, health economics, public health, or a closely related discipline, with a focus on pharmaceutical policy.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a consulting firm, preferably in health policy, market access, HEOR, reimbursement, or public affairs.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical policy and healthcare systems; experience in MENA markets is an advantage.
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills, with the ability to turn complex evidence into clear recommendations.
- Strong project management, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic proficiency is highly desirable. French is an advantage.
