We are looking for an experienced QA/QC & Safety Engineer to join our construction team in Kuwait.
The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in construction quality control, quality assurance, site safety, and construction inspections, preferably with previous experience working on KOC projects or major Oil & Gas companies/projects in Kuwait.

Qualifications & Certifications
Candidates should have relevant qualifications/certifications in Civil Engineering, QA/QC and/or HSE/Safety.
Relevant certifications such as the following will be highly preferred:
- QA/QC certifications
- NEBOSH
- IOSH
- OSHA
- ISO 9001 / Quality Management
- ISO 45001 / Occupational Health & Safety
- Other recognized HSE and construction certifications
Required Construction Experience
The candidate must have strong hands-on knowledge of construction from Skeleton Stage through Finishing Works, including:
- Reinforced concrete works
- Concreting and concrete quality
- Reinforcement/steel works
- Formwork
- Shoring
- Scaffolding
- Block works
- Plastering
- Waterproofing
- Flooring and tiling
- Painting
- MEP coordination
- Finishing works
- General civil construction activities
The candidate must be able to identify poor workmanship, incorrect installation, incorrect dimensions, improper materials, and deviations from approved drawings/specifications.
Technical Responsibilities
The engineer will be responsible for carrying out complete QA/QC inspections across all company construction sites, including:
- Checking construction works against approved drawings and specifications
- Reading and understanding architectural, structural and MEP drawings
- Checking dimensions, levels, alignment and installation
- Inspecting reinforcement, concrete, formwork and shoring before and during execution
- Verifying that the correct type and quality of materials are being used
- Monitoring material utilization and wastage
- Checking steel/rebar consumption
- Monitoring concrete consumption
- Checking formwork and shoring utilization
- Identifying construction defects and non-conforming works
- Ensuring proper workmanship and construction standards
- Conducting quality inspections from foundation/skeleton stage through finishing
- Coordinating with site engineers, supervisors and workers to correct deficiencies
- Preparing inspection reports and corrective-action reports
Safety Responsibilities
The candidate will also be responsible for site safety inspections, including:
- Checking compliance with safety standards and company HSE procedures
- Inspecting PPE usage
- Checking safety equipment
- Checking safety signs and warning boards
- Inspecting scaffolding, ladders, access and working platforms
- Checking housekeeping and site cleanliness
- Identifying unsafe working conditions and practices
- Ensuring workers follow safe working procedures
- Reporting safety violations immediately to management
- Following up on corrective actions
- Maintaining proper safety inspection records
Daily Site Inspection
The engineer will normally visit one or two sites every morning and conduct a comprehensive inspection covering:
Quality + Workmanship + Materials + Personnel + Equipment + Safety + Housekeeping
The engineer must be capable of independently identifying problems on site and reporting them to management without waiting for instructions.
Reporting & Accountability
The QA/QC & Safety Engineer will report directly to management and will be accountable for the overall quality control, quality assurance and safety monitoring of company projects.

Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is not only a paperwork QA/QC engineer, but someone with strong practical construction knowledge and the ability to physically inspect and evaluate work on site.
The successful candidate should be able to look at construction work and immediately identify:
What is correct → What is incorrect → Why it is incorrect → What needs to be corrected → What standard/drawing/specification should be followed.
Previous experience with KOC, Oil & Gas companies, major contractors, or large construction projects in Kuwait will be a strong advantage.
