Qualifications
• 6 YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IN TENDERING / ESTIMATION WITHIN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY.
• Strong technical background in Civil Engineering, with solid knowledge of civil engineering principles and design.
• Proven experience in Tender Preparation, Estimation & Costing, with the ability to analyze BOQs, drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and technical specifications, with familiarity with standard construction contracts.
• Experience with infrastructure and building projects, including roads, stormwater systems, residential and public buildings.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel and relevant estimation / costing tools.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication, coordination and report-writing skills, with the ability to work with internal teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.
