Established in 2022, Mubadala Health Dubai offers world-class treatments and advanced technology, facilitated by a clinical team of experts with extensive knowledge and experience. Our state-of-the-art outpatient facility provides day surgery, outpatient consultations, and comprehensive diagnostic services for over 30 clinical specialties.
The Specialist Internal Medicine is responsible for providing comprehensive, evidence-based medical care to adult patients across outpatient and inpatient settings. The role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions while ensuring the highest standards of clinical quality, patient safety, and service excellence. The Specialist works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care aligned with Mubadala Health's clinical standards and international best practices.
Responsibilities
- * Diagnose and manage a wide range of general internal medicine conditions, including complex and chronic diseases.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and ensure appropriate follow-up care.
- Provide care for both inpatient and outpatient populations within the scope of granted clinical privileges.
- Coordinate with subspecialists, allied health professionals, and other healthcare providers to optimise patient outcomes.
- Interpret diagnostic investigations, laboratory results, and imaging studies to support clinical decision-making.
- Promote preventive healthcare, health education, and chronic disease management strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and patient safety programmes.
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and evidence-based clinical guidelines.
- Support multidisciplinary case discussions, departmental meetings, and continuous professional development activities.
- Contribute to teaching, mentoring, and supervision of junior medical staff when required.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable licensing, accreditation, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- * MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a recognised postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine in accordance with applicable professional qualification requirements.
- Valid medical licence and/or eligibility for licensure with the relevant UAE health authority.
- Minimum of 2 years' post-specialisation experience in Internal Medicine.
- Experience managing a broad spectrum of acute and chronic medical conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Experience within internationally accredited healthcare organisations is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge, diagnostic reasoning, and patient management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
