About the RoleWe are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Site Engineer to manage and oversee daily site operations across our construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that engineering specifications, project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations are strictly followed. You will work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and subcontractors to drive progress and resolve technical challenges on-site.
Key Responsibilities1. Project Oversight & Site Operations
· Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and monitoring daily construction activities.
· Monitor site operations to guarantee compliance with engineering designs, technical specifications, and local building codes.
· Identify technical bottlenecks and collaborate with project leadership to implement immediate, effective solutions.
2. Technical Support & Quality Control
· Review, interpret, and implement engineering drawings, structural plans, and technical documents.
· Provide technical guidance to construction teams and technicians to ensure efficient execution methods.
· Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to address any discrepancies and uphold project standards.
3. Site Supervision & Safety Management
· Work directly with the Site Supervisor to coordinate daily workflows, labor, equipment, and materials.
· Supervise, guide, and mentor junior engineers and site technicians.
· Enforce job-site health and safety (HSE) protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations.
4. Stakeholder & Resource Management
· Coordinate with subcontractors, material suppliers, and inspectors to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
· Prepare detailed site progress reports, tracking labor performance, material consumption, and daily activities.
· Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders regarding project progress, resource needs, and potential delays.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)· Project Timeliness: Adherence to project schedules and timely task execution.
· Quality Compliance: Minimization of quality control issues, non-conformances, and rework.
· Safety Record: Zero/minimal safety violations and incident rates on-site.
· Resource Efficiency: Optimal and cost-effective utilization of materials and labor.
· Stakeholder Satisfaction: Strong communication and positive collaboration with internal and external partners.
Qualifications & Requirements· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
· Experience: 2–4 years of experience as a Site Engineer in construction projects.
· Certifications: Professional engineering registration (e.g., SCE registration or equivalent) preferred.
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and working knowledge of standard tools/software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
· Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, and clear interpersonal communication.
