About the Role
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission commercial kitchen equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Inspect equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on kitchen equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and applicable safety standards.
- Maintain service records and documentation related to maintenance and repairs.
- Coordinate with the service team to complete assigned maintenance and repair activities.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 4–6 years of relevant experience in servicing and maintaining kitchen equipment.
Required Skills
- Practical knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
- Understanding of equipment safety procedures and preventive maintenance practices.
- Good technical problem-solving and communication skills.
