Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to design clear, intuitive, and consistent digital experiences across mobile and web products.
The ideal candidate is not only strong in UX and visual design but also experienced in taking ideas from early concepts and interactive prototypes through to MVP together with Product and Engineering teams. We are also looking for someone who actively uses AI and modern design tools to improve and automate design workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and final UI.
- Take concepts from early prototypes through validation and into MVP together with Product Managers and Engineers.
- Own, build, and continuously maintain the design system.
- Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the full product development lifecycle.
- Improve existing journeys based on user needs, product data, and feedback.
- Ensure consistency, usability, responsiveness, and accessibility across products.
- Review implementation quality and design accuracy before release.
- Use AI-assisted design and prototyping tools to accelerate workflows, automate repetitive design tasks, and improve design system management.
- Explore new tools and processes that improve collaboration between Design, Product, and Engineering.
- Mentor junior designers when needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX, Product Design, or a similar role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating mobile and web products.
- Proven experience taking products or features from concept and prototype to MVP and production.
- Advanced Figma skills, including experience working with components, variables, libraries, and scalable design systems.
- Strong UX, interaction, and visual design skills.
- Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams in an agile product environment.
- Ability to simplify complex workflows and translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
- Experience using AI-powered design, prototyping, or development tools such as Pen or similar tools to accelerate prototyping, build or maintain design systems, and automate parts of the design process.
- Strong understanding of how design systems can be structured to support both designers and developers.
- Banking or fintech experience is preferred.
- Arabic/English and RTL design experience is a plus.
