Role overview
The Senior Interior Designer owns the kitchen sale from first meeting to installation: selling directly to clients and architects, designing the kitchen in 2D and 3D, preparing the quotation, and coordinating the installation with the client.
Key responsibilities
1. Sales to clients and architects
- Meet clients in the showroom and on site to understand their needs, lifestyle and budget.
- Build and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers and contractors to win project referrals.
- Present Kitchen Avenue kitchens and appliance brands, and guide clients through materials, finishes and appliances.
- Follow up on every lead and quotation until the order is signed.
- Meet monthly and yearly sales targets.
2. Design (2D and 3D)
- Produce 2D layouts, elevations and technical drawings.
- Produce 3D renders that clearly show the final kitchen to the client.
- Revise designs based on client and architect feedback.
3. Quotations
- Prepare accurate quotations covering cabinets, worktops, hardware, accessories and appliances.
- Apply company pricing and discount policy, and get approval for any exceptions.
- Issue revised quotations for every design change and keep the signed version on file.
- Create the sales order in the ERP once the client signs.
4. Installation coordination with the client:
- Confirm site readiness with the client before delivery.
- Agree the delivery and installation date with the client, together with the Kitchen Operations Manager.
- Be the client's point of contact during installation and attend the handover.
- Follow up on snags and after-sales requests until the client signs off.
Requirements
Must have
- 5+ years as a kitchen or interior designer, including direct client sales.
- Proven track record of closing sales with homeowners and architects.
- Strong 2D and 3D skills: AutoCAD
- Solid knowledge of kitchen construction, materials, finishes, hardware and built-in appliances.
- Able to prepare accurate, detailed quotations.
- Confident with ERP systems and Excel.
- Fluent Arabic and English; French is a plus.
Nice to have
- Experience with Compusoft Winner or other kitchen design software.
- Existing network of architects and interior designers in Lebanon.
- Background in premium or high-end residential projects.
- Degree in interior design or interior architecture.
Personal qualities
- Persuasive and confident presenter, with a strong eye for design.
- Detail-oriented: drawings and quotations are right the first time.
- Organized, able to run several projects at once.
- Owns the client relationship from first meeting to handover.
