Job Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and customer-oriented Female Sales Associate to join our team at our Jounieh – Maamelten sportswear store.
As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in finding the right sportswear products, achieving sales targets, and contributing to a positive and welcoming shopping experience. You will also assist with maintaining the store’s appearance, inventory, and daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable assistance to customers, helping them find sportswear products that match their needs and preferences.
- Sales: Achieve and exceed personal and store sales targets through effective product recommendations, upselling, and customer engagement.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with sportswear trends, product features, collections, promotions, and offers in order to provide accurate information to customers.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing, including arranging products, maintaining fitting areas, and ensuring displays are properly presented.
- Inventory Management: Assist with receiving and organizing merchandise, restocking products, conducting inventory counts, and maintaining accurate product information.
- Cash Handling: Process customer transactions accurately at the register, including payments, returns, and exchanges.
- Teamwork: Work closely with colleagues and management to achieve store objectives and maintain a positive and professional team environment.
- Customer Engagement: Proactively approach and engage with customers on the sales floor, understand their needs, answer questions, and provide a welcoming shopping experience.
- Visual Merchandising: Assist in implementing product displays, promotions, and merchandising guidelines to ensure products are presented attractively.
- Store Events: Be available to attend and support sports events, games, festivals, and other promotional activities when required.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong interest in sportswear, fitness, and an active lifestyle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, confident, and positive personality.
- Customer-focused with a strong passion for sales.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills.
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately handle cash and customer transactions.
- Presentable and professional appearance.
- Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours when required.
- Ability and willingness to attend sports events, games, sports festivals, and promotional activities when needed.
