We are looking for a social and friendly Optometrist/Optician to work in retail with our customers and join our dynamic team, who can fulfill the below responsibilities and skills:
Optometrist/Optician Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct eye exams using optometric equipment and general diagnostic interpretation.
- Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
- Recommend appropriate patient follow-up and care options
- Answer questions and provide advice to patients regarding vision and optical issues.
- Deliver outstanding and full customer service through all patient interactions and journey starting from the eye
- exam to choosing the appropriate eyewear or contact lens to the follow up to guarantee a good after sales
- service.
- Assist in the development of the overall practice.
Optometrist/Optician Qualifications/Skills:
- Applied understanding of general principles of optometry and best practices for the diagnosis of eye-related
- disorders and conditions and help in choosing the best vision correction.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to patients of diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- General computer proficiency.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and multitasking ability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to patient care.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Optometry degree or any other related field.
- Strong clinical skills and diagnostic abilities.
- No previous experience needed.
