About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Java Software Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience to join our development team in Beirut
The successful candidate will contribute to the development and enhancement of an automated testing library used to support enterprise-grade financial applications. The role requires strong Java development skills, solid object-oriented programming knowledge, and an understanding of software testing and automation practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based software components.
- Contribute to the development and continuous enhancement of an automated testing framework.
- Develop reusable libraries and utilities to improve test automation capabilities.
- Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Implement clean, maintainable, and scalable object-oriented code.
- Develop and execute automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and test automation issues.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, business analysts, and other technical stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing testing processes, frameworks, and automation coverage.
- Document technical solutions, test scenarios, and development activities.
- Support continuous improvement of software quality and development processes.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Java software development.
- Strong proficiency in Java.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design concepts.
- Experience with software development life cycle and development best practices.
- Good understanding of unit testing and automated testing concepts.
- Experience developing reusable and maintainable software components.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze technical requirements and implement effective solutions.
- Good understanding of source code management and collaborative development practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in test automation or automation framework development.
- Experience with testing tools and frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of Maven or Gradle.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.
- Previous experience in banking, financial services, capital markets, or enterprise applications is a plus.
- Understanding of financial products, trading, risk, or back-office processes is an advantage.
