On behalf of our client, a leading financial services company, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Stack Engineer to join the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications according to specified business requirements.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to translate design mockups and functional requirements into fully working features.
- Build responsive, cross-browser user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks
- Design and implement server-side logic, RESTful APIs, and database schemas to support application functionality.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to coding standards and best practices across the full stack.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security on both client and server sides.
- Implement Unit, Integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Work closely with the QA team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs or issues across the stack.
- Define and document technical specifications, including appropriate technology choices and workflows.
- Manage and integrate databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and third-party services/APIs.
- Participate in sprints ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in front-end and back-end technologies.
- Other duties as deemed necessary by their superior from time to time.
Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 3 years working as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role, working across both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular.
- Experience with back-end languages/frameworks such as Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI)..
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, FastAPI, asynchronous programming, and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience developing microservices and managing containerized applications (Docker).
- Some experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka is a plus.
- Some level of experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
- Proficient in version control and CI/CD tools such as Git.
- Experience with testing frameworks.
- Understanding of web security standards and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
