Responsibilities:
- Prepare techno-commercial inputs and support the development of geotechnical design solutions for tenders, ensuring alignment with client specifications and project objectives.
- Perform and coordinate geotechnical design activities for ongoing projects, ensuring timely delivery, technical accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Interpret and analyze geotechnical investigation data, and prepare design recommendations and technical reports under the guidance of the Lead Engineer or Geotechnical Design Manager.
- Conduct slope stability, settlement, and foundation analyses using appropriate software and engineering methodologies. Support advanced analyses when required and review the work of junior engineers.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and assist in coordinating resources to meet project schedules and technical requirements.
- Identify and communicate geotechnical risks and opportunities encountered during design and project execution, and recommend practical mitigation measures.
- Support engineering research and development initiatives by contributing technical inputs for the enhancement of geotechnical design tools, methodologies, and procedures.
- Review and provide comments on design documentation and calculations prepared internally or by external consultants to ensure compliance with project requirements and engineering best practices.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to provide technical clarifications, support project execution, and ensure the timely completion of deliverables.
- Ensure that all designs and analyses comply with QA/QC requirements, industry standards, and company design guidelines.
- Promote compliance with the Company's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, ensuring safety considerations are integrated into all design and analytical activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Geotechnical Engineering), Geology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of engineering and design experience in geotechnical works related to dredging, land reclamation, ports and harbors, coastal protection, offshore, and marine infrastructure projects.
