We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer with strong hands-on experience in building and integrating AI solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up AI environments, selecting and evaluating models, connecting AI solutions to different data sources, and validating AI use cases in real-world business scenarios. The role will focus on practical implementation of AI solutions using platforms such as Google Cloud and Vertex AI, including use cases such as Document AI, OCR, document processing, and information extraction.*
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and configure AI environments and services, particularly Google Cloud and Vertex AI.
- Evaluate and select suitable AI/ML and Generative AI models based on business requirements.
- Connect AI solutions with APIs, databases, documents, and other data sources.
- Develop and validate AI use cases and proof-of-concepts.
- Work with Document AI, OCR, document classification, and information extraction use cases.
- Test AI solutions and evaluate model outputs for accuracy, quality, and reliability.
- Develop and optimize prompts and workflows for Generative AI and LLM-based solutions.
- Troubleshoot AI integrations and improve solution performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to translate requirements into practical AI solutions.
- Support the deployment and ongoing improvement of AI solutions in production environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience* in AI/ML Engineering, Software Engineering with significant AI experience, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and Vertex AI.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML, Generative AI, and LLMs.
- Experience selecting, integrating, and testing AI models.
- Experience with Document AI, OCR, or intelligent document processing.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Experience working with APIs and different data sources.
- Understanding of AI model evaluation and testing.
- Good understanding of software development, deployment, and production environments.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with *RAG, embeddings, vector databases, or AI agents.
- Experience with LLM evaluation and benchmarking.
- Experience in *FinTech, financial services, lending, or regulated industries.
- Experience taking AI solutions from proof-of-concept to production.
- Experience with AI security, privacy, and responsible AI practices.
