About Tradeics
Tradeics is building an AI-powered B2B Trade Operating System that connects buyers, suppliers, experts, and financiers in one platform for B2B commerce, procurement, payments, and business services.
Why this role matters
On a B2B platform, the supplier network is the product buyers experience. The number, quality, and activity of our suppliers decide what buyers can source, how fast they can buy, and whether they come back.
You will not inherit a team or a process. You will design the program, prove it with your own deals, hire the team, and turn it into a repeatable acquisition engine.
What you will own
- The Supplier Onboarding Program
- Define priority supplier segments by sector, size, and geography.
- Design the acquisition approach for each segment across field sales, telesales, digital leads, partnerships, associations, and referrals.
- Build the business case for team size, territories, targets, and incentives, and present it to management.
- The team
- Design the team structure and hire the first Supplier Acquisition Specialists.
- Build onboarding, training, and certification for new specialists.
- Set individual and team targets, run weekly pipeline reviews and one-to-ones, and coach on prospecting, pitching, objection handling, and closing.
- Manage performance with clear expectations, and act quickly when targets are missed.
- Selling, from day one
- Personally prospect, pitch, and activate the first suppliers before the team is in place.
- Lead strategic and high-value supplier accounts yourself once the team is running.
- Turn what works in your own deals into the scripts and processes the team uses.
- The funnel and its numbers
- Own the full supplier funnel from first contact to activation.
- Set weekly and monthly targets for every stage, track conversion daily, and find and fix bottlenecks.
- Make sure suppliers do not stop at registration: drive them through verification and activation with Onboarding, Operations, and Product.
- Keep the CRM accurate and complete, and report results to management every week.
- The Supplier Acquisition Playbook
- Target supplier profiles and qualification criteria.
- Prospecting methods, the Tradeics supplier pitch, and the value proposition by segment.
- Objection handling, follow-up sequences, closing, and activation procedures.
- CRM standards, reporting templates, and sales hygiene rules.
- One acquisition engine with Marketing
- Agree lead definitions, lead scoring, and response times with our Digital Marketing & Growth Specialist.
- Give structured feedback on lead quality so marketing spend moves to the channels that produce activated suppliers.
- Share accountability for acquisition cost and supplier quality.
- The voice of the market
- Capture supplier needs, objections, pricing sensitivity, and adoption barriers.
- Track competing B2B platforms and how they acquire suppliers.
- Feed structured insight to management, Product, and Marketing.
How you will be measured
- Activated suppliers (the primary measure), plus qualified and verified suppliers
- Lead to Registration and Registration to Activation conversion rates
- Time from first contact to activation
- Productivity per specialist and team target achievement
- Supplier engagement and retention after activation
Qualifications: must have
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years managing a quota-carrying sales team.
- Proven experience building a sales team or program from an early stage: hiring the first salespeople, writing the process, and setting targets.
- A personal record of prospecting and closing B2B deals within the last 2 years.
- Experience acquiring SMEs, merchants, suppliers, or vendors at volume through field sales, telesales, or both.
- Strong command of funnel metrics: you can state the team sizes, targets, conversion rates, and results from your previous roles.
- Daily use of a CRM to manage pipeline and forecast.
- Fluent Arabic and English, spoken and written.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Qualifications: nice to have
- Experience in B2B marketplaces, SaaS, FinTech, procurement technology, e-commerce, or business services.
- An existing network among suppliers in one or more B2B sectors.
- Experience designing sales incentive and commission plans.
- Experience with supplier onboarding that includes verification or business documentation checks.
- Familiarity with B2B e-commerce practices and requirements.
- Experience working alongside a performance marketing team on shared lead targets.
Who you are
- A builder. You prefer creating the system to running someone else's.
- Numbers-driven. You know your conversion rates without opening a spreadsheet.
- A coach. People who worked for you got better and were promoted.
- Persistent and practical. You can take a rejection in the morning and close in the afternoon.
- Comfortable with ambiguity. Not every process exists yet, and that is part of the job.
What we offer
- A founding role in the team, with the mandate to design the program and hire the team you lead.
- Direct work with Tradeics leadership and real influence on product and go-to-market decisions.
- Competitive compensation with a performance-based component.
Hiring process
- Application review.
- Introductory call.
- Interview on your track record: teams you built, deals you closed, and the numbers behind them.
- Practical session: a live supplier pitch and a presentation of your 90-day plan for the program.
- Final conversation with leadership and reference checks.
