Looking for a Retail Sales Representative to provide excellent customer service at a high-end baby store in Amman on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with customers at the store
- Understand customer needs and preferences related to merchandise
- Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
- Assist customers with purchase decisions
- Handling social media posts and stories, developing reels and content
- Ringing up sales and arranging for delivery or pick-up of the customer’s order if needed
- Present the products in best manner including gift wrapping or placing items in relevant packaging/ gift boxes
- Retrieves merchandise from sales floor and stock room
- Keep management informed on stock levels and customer inquiries
- Perform stock related tasks including stock count and placing price labels on products
- Process exchanges for customers
- Collecting the value of the goods sold from customers and entering the sales process information and customer information into the point of sale system
- Help in unboxing merchandise and visual merchandising
- Ensuring the store is kept clean and organised
- Provide detailed daily report for management
- Collaborating with fellow team members and Management
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent active listening skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Experience in social media posting
- Experience in retail sales is preferable
- Cheerful working attitude
- Must be presentable
