SLATE is an Italian restaurant in Kuwait. We're growing our service and kitchen teams and looking for motivated, experienced people who care about great food and great guest service.
Open Positions, Salaries & Experience Required
Service Team
- Waiter / Waitress – 175 KD
- Minimum 1–2 years as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant, ideally casual or fine dining. Good knowledge of food and beverage service and menu upselling.
- Hostess – 200 KD
- Minimum 1–2 years as a hostess or receptionist in a restaurant or hotel. Experience with reservations, guest seating, and handling walk-ins.
- Guest Relations Manager – 350 KD
- Minimum 3–4 years in guest relations or front-of-house in a restaurant or hotel, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Strong complaint handling and guest experience skills.
Kitchen Team
- Kitchen Commis – 175 KD
- Minimum 1 year as a commis in a professional kitchen. Basic knife skills, food prep, and knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
- Pastry Commis – 175 KD
- Minimum 1 year as a pastry commis. Basic knowledge of desserts, doughs, and baking.
- Kitchen CDP – 275 KD
- Minimum 3 years of kitchen experience, including at least 1 year as a CDP or Demi Chef. Experience in Italian cuisine (pasta, sauces, pizza) preferred.
- Pastry CDP – 275 KD
- Minimum 3 years of pastry experience, including at least 1 year as a Pastry CDP or Demi Chef. Experience with Italian desserts such as tiramisu, panna cotta, and gelato preferred.
General Requirements
- Currently residing in Kuwait
- Transferable Article 18 (Ahli) visa
- Good communication skills in English
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Valid health certificate, or willing to get one
- Immediate joining preferred
