The Radiographer/Radiography Technologist is responsible to operate medical imaging techiques such as X-Rays, MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), CT (Computed Tomography) to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- * Perform imaging procedures safely and accurately as requested by physicians.
- Prepare and position patients to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to safety and quality standards.
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and the ALARA principle to protect patients and staff.
- Explain procedures to patients and provide a positive, supportive experience.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to support patient care.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, hospital policies, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- * Bachelor’s degree in a Radiography, Radiology Technology, or Medical/Diagnostic Imaging program.
- Two (2) years of experience post qualification in the general radiology field.
- Active UAE license as Radiographer/Radiography Technologist or Medical Imaging.
- Proven basic knowledge and application of application tools and computer skills.
