Support productivity/ cost optimization/ technology improvement activities by preparing prototypes, conducting laboratory trials, performing product testing, lab raw material stock management, and maintaining R&D laboratory operations to enable successful cost optimization, alternative supplier development, technology improvement projects.
Key Accountabilities:
- Prepare product prototypes according to current formulations/ current product and instructions.
- Support technology Manager, Ingredient specialist in formulation trials, ingredient evaluations, and product optimization.
- Execute laboratory-scale processing activities for Protein business products portfolio (chicken & beef).
- Ensure accurate weighing, batching, and trial execution.
- Prepare samples for internal reviews, sensory panels, customer presentations, and benchmarking.
- Provide technical support during projects activities.
- Perform basic physical and quality evaluations during product evaluations.
- Conduct measurements such as moisture, texture, protein, weight, and other relevant product attributes.
- Support sensory evaluation sessions and sample preparation.
- Record and communicate test results accurately.
- Prepare, label, store, and track R&D samples.
- Maintain organized sample libraries and retain samples.
- Record trial details, observations, and test results.
- Support preparation of technical reports and trial documentation.
- Maintain R&D laboratory cleanliness and readiness.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment according to procedures.
- Ensure availability of ingredients, tools, and consumables for trials.
- Follow GMP, safety, and laboratory procedures.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Technology, or a related discipline
- 1–3 years of experience in an R&D laboratory or food manufacturing environment preferred.
- Basic food formulation principles.
- Laboratory practices and sample preparation.
- Food quality testing methods.
- Sensory evaluation techniques.
- Basic knowledge protein frozen & fresh business.
- GMP and food safety practices.
- Excellent command of English
