We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities within our joinery manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all joinery products, including cabinetry, doors, furniture, wall cladding, and custom woodwork, are manufactured in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, client requirements, and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Control & Inspection
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, including timber, veneers, laminates, hardware, and accessories.
- Verify compliance of manufactured products with approved shop drawings, material specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor production processes and workmanship at all stages of manufacturing.
- Perform in-process and final inspections prior to packaging and dispatch.
- Identify, document, and report defects, non-conformities, and quality issues.
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented.
Production Quality Monitoring
- Work closely with production teams to maintain quality standards throughout manufacturing.
- Monitor adherence to approved manufacturing procedures and best practices.
- Conduct regular quality audits of factory operations.
- Assist in improving manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and reduce rework.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action reports.
- Review shop drawings, cutting lists, and specifications to ensure quality requirements are clearly understood.
- Maintain traceability records for materials and finished products.
