Are you an experienced QA/QC Engineer with a strong background in enterprise applications, API testing, integration testing, and release quality?
We are currently building a shortlist of an Expert QA/QC Engineer to support a Saudi organization’s digital services assignment on a fully remote basis.
üîπ Position: QA/QC Engineer ‚Äì Expert Level
üîπ Experience: 8+ years in Software Quality Assurance / Testing
üîπ Contract Duration: 9 Months (with the possibility of extension)
üîπ Working Schedule: 6 days per week, 9 hours per day
üéØ What You‚Äôll Be Doing:
You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and readiness of digital services by:
• Converting approved requirements and change scope into comprehensive test plans, test cases, coverage, and acceptance evidence.
• Conducting functional, integration, regression, and user-acceptance testing.
• Performing API and payment integration testing, including failure scenarios, duplicate processing, and data consistency.
• Identifying, documenting, and assessing defects based on severity and risk, and following them through retesting and closure.
• Providing risk-based quality recommendations before release.
• Working closely with development and DevOps teams to improve repeatable testing and appropriate automation.
• Maintaining accurate test assets, reports, defect records, and quality documentation.
• Providing clear and traceable evidence to support release and acceptance decisions.
⭐ What We’re Looking For:
• 8+ years of relevant software QA/testing experience.
• Proven experience in end-to-end QA for enterprise applications or services.
• Strong experience in test planning, requirements traceability, and release/acceptance evidence.
• Hands-on experience with API/integration testing and investigating issues through request/response evidence, logs, and data checks.
• Strong defect reporting, triage, and follow-up capabilities across multiple development teams.
• Ability to determine appropriate manual and automated testing approaches and communicate test coverage and release risks effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, or an equivalent qualification.
‚ú® Nice to Have
• ISTQB Certification.
• Experience in payment, government, or regulated-service testing.
• Performance testing or test automation experience.
• Experience evaluating AI-assisted applications, including repeatable test sets and output validation.
• Arabic communication skills.
