ABOUT THE ROLE
The Principle Engineer-Radar System for Halcon lead the design, development, integration, and qualification of advanced radar seeker systems for airborne and precision-guided applications, providing technical leadership across RF/microwave, antenna, signal processing, and system engineering activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design and development of radar seeker systems, including RF/microwave front-ends, antenna systems, and associated subsystems.
- Develop and optimize radar signal processing algorithms for target acquisition, tracking, classification, accuracy, and overall system performance.
- Lead system integration, ground and flight testing, verification, qualification, troubleshooting, and performance analysis of radar seeker systems.
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, engineering documentation, mentoring of engineers, and implementation of advanced engineering practices.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in RF and Radar engineering, with at least 2 years of technical leadership or management experience.
- Advanced expertise in radar theory, RF/microwave design, antennas, electromagnetics, radar seeker systems, and signal processing.
- Strong experience with engineering and simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, CST/HFSS, Microwave Office, and C/C++, as well as RF test equipment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive experience in radar seeker development for military airborne platforms, missiles, or precision-guided munitions, including ground and flight testing.
- Proven leadership of complex radar/RF development programs, including systems engineering, design reviews, acceptance/qualification testing, and mentoring of engineering teams.
