Overview Of The Role:
The Pre Delivery Inspection Manager is responsible for overseeing all Pre-Delivery Inspection activities, ensuring efficient, timely, and cost-effective processing of vehicles and accessories while guaranteeing customer satisfaction. The role requires developing strategies, improving systems, managing financials, and fostering stakeholder relationships to ensure operational excellence.
What You Will Do:
- Establish and implement Multibrand ASU PDI strategy focused on optimizing productivity levels, customer-oriented processes, and cost efficiency.
- Adopt Lean Production system methodology to optimize takt time and cost.
- Drive the creation of a PDI competence centre to maximize customer satisfaction while reducing costs and optimizing inventory levels.
- Design and implement systems and processes for improved customer satisfaction.
- Develop and sustain customer relationships through responsiveness and accountability.
- Execute end-to-end project plans, ensuring projects run effectively and within timelines and budget.
- Ensure department meets financial objectives by developing and implementing a sound budget.
- Manage P&L budget and track key metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Build a culture of long-term saving through effective procurement cost management.
- Adjust operational processes and procedures based on performance reports for a consistent strategy.
- Define metrics and monitor controls to regularly measure facility performance.
- Implement and sustain 5S and Kaizen initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Coach and develop talent through Individual Development Plans and effective Succession Planning.
- Foster a culture that supports associate engagement and development.

What Qualifies You For The Role:
- Graduate degree in Engineering or Automotive equivalent, with a post-graduate diploma in Business Management as an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an Automotive After Sales environment, with distributor and OEM experience preferred.
- Experience in Kaizen, Project Management, Supply Chain Planning, Distribution, and Analytics.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office applications, inventory and supply chain management principles, and Lean Production methodology.
