Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Dubai. The Pharmacist will dispense medications accurately, review and interpret prescriptions, and provide clear counseling to patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and interactions. Daily responsibilities include maintaining prescription records, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, managing inventory and storage conditions, and participating in regular audits to support safety and quality standards. The role involves close collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment plans, address medication-related queries, and contribute to patient education initiatives. The Pharmacist is also expected to stay current with clinical guidelines, new drug therapies, and regulatory updates relevant to practice in the UAE.
Qualifications
* Approved degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm, Pharm.D, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
* Eligibility to obtain or hold a UAE pharmacist license; prior experience with UAE or GCC health authorities is an advantage.
* Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, drug interactions, and medication safety principles.
* Experience in community or hospital pharmacy settings, including dispensing, counseling, and inventory management.
* Proficiency in patient communication, with the ability to explain complex medical information in clear, accessible language.
* Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a high level of accuracy in prescription handling and documentation.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and maintain professional, respectful interactions with patients and colleagues.
* Comfort with pharmacy software, electronic health records, and digital tools used for prescription processing and reporting.
* Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and facility policies.
* Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or additional languages is an asset.
