Responsible for OS&E packages, is responsible for the end-to-end OS&E process for hotel projects, from reviewing specifications, and through tendering, procurement, delivery follow-up, installation, inspection, and final handover.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Selection: Identify and select appropriate OS&E items that meet the project's design, budget, and functional requirements. This includes researching products, equipment, and systems to ensure quality and meet project requirements.
- Specification Writing: Develop and review detailed OS&E BOQs, including product descriptions, dimensions, while coordinating with the suppliers and Hotels Development Design Team, Projects teams to finalize requirements, identify discrepancies, missing items and scope gaps between drawings, specifications and BOQs.
- Vendor Coordination: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and coordinate the procurement process to ensure timely delivery of OS&E items.
- Tendering & Commercial Evaluation: Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of supplier offers. Prepare comparison sheets, recommendation reports, and procurement approvals. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, warranties, and commercial conditions.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure OS&E requirements are aligned with hotel brand standards and operational needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, engineering, or any related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in OS&E purchasing and procurement, preferably within the hospitality or high-end residential sectors.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of OS&E products, equipment, and systems; Excel, and procurement software is a plus.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Communication: Proficiency in English and excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
