Position Summary
We are seeking a mid-level GenAI engineer with 3-7 years of relevant software, data or AI engineering experience (including recent GenAI work) to build scoped AI features for a Saudi organization. Working under the agreed architecture and the guidance of the expert engineer, you will create n8n workflows and supporting code that connect AI to enterprise services. Only client-approved models, tools and hosting may be used, and client data must never go to public AI services or be used for training outside approved scope.
Responsibilities
- Build scoped LLM/GenAI features under the agreed architecture and the expert engineer's guidance.
- Create and maintain n8n workflows using authenticated APIs, webhooks and approved enterprise-data connections.
- Implement data transformations and supporting code, with predictable handling of failed steps, retries and invalid outputs.
- Maintain prompts, configuration and repeatable test cases so changes can be evaluated and reviewed.
- Investigate issues using logs and test evidence, and work with QA and DevOps on fixes and releases.
- Document workflows, interfaces and operating steps, and contribute to client handover and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
Essential
- 3-7 years in software, data or AI engineering, including recent GenAI work.
- Relevant bachelor's degree (CS, AI, data science, software engineering) or equivalent.
- Practical experience building LLM applications connected to services or data, beyond a standalone demo.
- Hands-on n8n: triggers/webhooks, API connections, credential handling, data mapping and error paths.
- Python (or comparable) skills to implement and troubleshoot beyond visual nodes.
- Able to test output behavior, respect data and access controls, use source control and deliver documented features within an agreed design.
- Compliance with client-approved models, tools and hosting.
Preferred
- RAG or document processing
- Arabic-language applications, enterprise integration, government/regulated projects
- AI-output testing, workflow monitoring, CI/CD familiarity
