Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Lighting Estimator with minimum 2 years of Dubai/UAE experience in lighting estimation and tendering. The candidate will be responsible for preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, quotations, and coordinating with suppliers and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review lighting layouts, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and tender documents.
- Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and detailed quotations.
- Obtain and compare prices from suppliers and manufacturers.
- Select suitable lighting products based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers, sales, procurement, and project teams.
- Prepare alternative and value-engineering proposals where required.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of quotations.
- Maintain updated supplier pricing and quotation records.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Dubai/UAE experience in lighting estimation.
- Strong knowledge of lighting fixtures, LED products, drivers, controls, and accessories.
- Experience in BOQ preparation, tendering, and quantity take-offs.
- Ability to read lighting layouts, electrical drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of DIALux/Relux is an advantage.
- Good supplier/manufacturer coordination and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience
Experience in architectural lighting, decorative lighting, hospitality, retail, residential, or commercial projects in Dubai/UAE will be an advantage.
