Role Description The Lifting Planner role is a full-time, on-site position based in Al-Basra Governorate, Iraq. The individual in this role will develop detailed lifting plans, including equipment selection, load calculations, rigging methods, and sequencing to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing technical drawings and site conditions, coordinating with site supervisors, crane operators, and safety personnel, and preparing risk assessments and method statements for lifting activities. The Lifting Planner will monitor ongoing lifts, adjust plans as needed to reflect changing site conditions, and ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable standards. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, participating in toolbox talks and safety briefings, and supporting incident investigations and continuous improvement efforts related to lifting operations.
