Role Overview
We are currently seeking a high-caliber Investment Analyst to support the evaluation, execution and monitoring of investment opportunities across the Group’s diversified portfolio.
The role will work closely with the Investment team and senior management on transactions across sectors and geographies, providing rigorous financial analysis, valuation, market research and transaction execution support.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate potential M&A, private equity, strategic investment and divestment opportunities across multiple sectors and geographies.
- Build and review detailed financial models, including DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, returns analysis, sensitivity analysis and scenario modelling.
- Conduct industry, market, competitive and company research to support investment recommendations.
- Analyze historical and projected financial performance, business plans, capital structures and key value drivers.
- Prepare high-quality investment committee, management and Board-level presentations, investment memoranda and transaction updates.
- Support transaction execution, including coordination of financial, commercial, legal, tax and operational due diligence workstreams.
- Assist in reviewing transaction structures, valuation, financing alternatives and key commercial terms.
- Monitor existing portfolio companies and investments, including financial performance, strategic developments and key value-creation initiatives.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, portfolio companies, investment banks, consultants, legal advisors and other external counterparties.
- Support ad-hoc strategic initiatives, sector reviews and capital allocation assessments across the Group.
Candidate Profile - Mandatory Qualifications
- MBA from a recognized institution.
- CFA qualification / CFA Charterholder.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, corporate development, investments or a similar role. At least one deal closure is must.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong financial modelling, valuation and financial statement analysis capabilities.
- Good understanding of M&A and investment transaction processes.
- Strong analytical and commercial judgement with the ability to identify key investment risks and value drivers.
- Advanced proficiency in AI tools, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prepare concise, senior-management-level presentations and investment recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and perform effectively in a fast-paced investment environment.
- High attention to detail, ownership mindset and ability to work independently.
Preferred Profile
Candidates with prior experience at a leading investment bank, private equity fund, Big Four transaction advisory practice, sovereign investment platform or corporate investment team will be preferred.
