Key Responsibilities
Assist in underwriting Property risks in accordance with company guidelines.
Review and analyze risk submissions, underwriting information, surveys, and claims experience.
Prepare quotations, endorsements, and renewal terms.
Coordinate with brokers, clients, reinsurers, and internal departments to ensure smooth servicing of accounts.
Support facultative reinsurance placements and underwriting referrals.
Maintain underwriting records and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
Assist in portfolio monitoring, renewal management initiatives.
Skills
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in insurance/risk management, or similar discipline.
2-5 years of experience in General Insurance, preferably in Property Underwriting. UAE or regional experience will be an advantage.
Sound understanding of commercial and industrial property risks.
Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Professional qualifications such as ACII, Cert CII, or progress towards insurance certifications will be an added advantage.
