The Center for Innovative Learning (CIL) is currently looking for an Instructional Technologist reporting to the Director of CIL. This position is based on the Byblos campus with occasional commuting to the Beirut campus.
Role Summary
The Instructional Technologist is mainly responsible for facilitating technology-rich teaching and learning through the development of technology-integrated instructional strategies. This role involves collaborating with faculty, instructional designers and multimedia designers to translate course material into engaging technology and multimedia rich learning paths that elevate the overall pedagogical experience.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Required Qualifications* Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Technology, Educational Technology, or a related field * Minimum 2 years of work experience in instructional technology with a focus on multimedia integration * Strong technical skills and proficiency in educational technology platforms and tools including: + Learning Management Systems (e.g., Blackboard) + eLearning Authoring Tools (e.g., Articulate Rise 360, Storyline) + Multimedia Production Tools (e.g., Canva, Panopto)
Work Schedule
This position follows a normal work schedule (Monday – Friday) with possible/occasional attendance after hours and/or during weekends/holidays to ensure business continuity and meet critical deadlines.
