We are seeking a dedicated, on-site BIM Coordinator to manage and synchronize Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across architectural, Infrastructural, structural, and MEP disciplines. Based in our Jal El Dib office, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of accurate, consistent, and clash-free project models. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate BIM seamlessly into our workflows and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Model Management: Set up, manage, and maintain project BIM models while enforcing strict modeling standards.
- Design Coordination: Facilitate design information exchange among project teams, lead coordination meetings, and proactively resolve spatial and design clashes.
- Deliverables & Reporting: Generate accurate model-based reports, drawings, and documentation.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee QA/QC processes for all BIM deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Process Improvement: Champion the continuous improvement of internal BIM workflows, tools, and digital coordination standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Experience: 5–7 years of proven experience as a BIM Coordinator in the consulting or construction industry, with a strong focus on structural, infrastructure, or transportation projects.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced command of industry-standard BIM and CAD software, specifically Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit (Structure/MEP), Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- BIM Expertise: Proven track record of successfully delivering projects through LOD 300, 400, and 500 stages.
- Standards & Protocols: Strong understanding of BIM Modeling & Digital Coordination (ISO 19650), information exchange protocols, and asset data management (specifically COBie standards).
- Technical Knowledge: Solid comprehension of structural detailing, civil infrastructure coordination, construction sequencing, and MEP system integration.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, backed by a proactive and highly collaborative approach to teamwork.
