Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients to build and refine agentic search systems that power modern applications. The role focuses on engineering systems where real users depend on accurate relevance and retrieval. Candidates should have direct experience optimizing search quality for production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own relevance or retrieval for systems relied upon by real users.
• Quantify impact and improvements in search performance using clear metrics.
• Design and implement agentic search architectures that adapt to user intent.
• Scale data infrastructure to support fast, reliable search at production scale.
• Make tradeoffs between latency, accuracy, and computational cost in search systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience shipping production search systems with measurable impact.
• Ability to evaluate search quality using quantitative methods.
• Familiarity with agentic systems and their integration with search pipelines.
• Knowledge of data infrastructure scaling for high-throughput search workloads.
• Experience designing relevance models or retrieval algorithms.
