Job Objective
Your role as the Content Creator is to transform approved content priorities, campaign briefs and scripts into engaging social media videos for the assigned companies. You will manage day-to-day content production from creative execution and filming through editing and final delivery, working closely with the Brand and Social Media Teams to ensure content is accurate, relevant and aligned with each brand’s identity and communication objectives.
Main Tasks
- Translate approved concepts, briefs and scripts into creative treatments, shot lists and production plans, ensuring that each video clearly communicates the intended message to its target audience.
- Propose content ideas, opening hooks, storytelling approaches, locations and visual formats that strengthen campaign briefs and support engaging social media execution.
- Proactively identify relevant social media and cultural trends, recommending timely content opportunities that align with brand priorities and approval requirements.
- Organize production schedules and batch filming sessions to deliver the agreed content plan efficiently while accommodating changing campaign priorities and timely opportunities.
- Film high-quality videos across offices, branches, ATM locations, merchant venues, events and lifestyle settings, adapting the production approach to each location and concept.
- Set up and operate cameras, mobile devices, microphones, lighting and production accessories, identifying and requesting additional equipment when required.
- Identify and coordinate suitable employees, internal stakeholders or external talent for each concept, and guide non-professional participants to deliver natural and credible performances.
- Appear, speak and present on camera when required by the content concept, maintaining an engaging delivery consistent with the relevant brand.
- Create lifestyle content, product demonstrations, tutorials, employee stories and company-culture videos, presenting products and services in clear and relatable ways.
- Capture campaign launches, partnerships, activations and events, producing timely content that supports the planned communication objectives.
- Record supporting footage, product details, application interactions and behind-the-scenes material to maximize the value of each shoot and support future content needs.
- Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok and other required channels, applying suitable pacing, color correction, subtitles, text overlays, transitions, music and basic motion graphics.
- Combine filmed footage with application or interface recordings, ensuring that product demonstrations and instructions remain clear and accurate.
- Submit content for review, incorporate feedback within agreed timelines and deliver organized, publication-ready files that meet each platform’s technical requirements.
- Apply each brand’s visual identity and tone of voice consistently, adapting execution to consumer, business, product, lifestyle and company-culture audiences.
- Coordinate with Brand, Product, Compliance and other relevant stakeholders to verify product information, approved claims and mandatory disclaimers, escalating unclear or conflicting details before final delivery.
- Protect confidential information and customer data during production, and ensure that filming permissions, location approvals and talent releases are obtained, including parent or guardian consent when filming minors.
- Use licensed or approved music, footage, fonts and other third-party assets, maintaining relevant source records when required.
- Maintain an organized archive of raw footage, project files, approved videos and reusable assets to support efficient retrieval and future production.
- Review video performance feedback with the Social Media Team and recommend improvements to hooks, pacing, formats and storytelling to strengthen audience engagement and retention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film Production, Media, Communications, Advertising, Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in demonstrating experience, producing short-form social media videos, supported by a portfolio showing creative execution, filming and editing capabilities.
- Practical experience managing production from brief interpretation and shoot preparation through editing and final delivery.
- Experience producing content for financial services, technology, payments, lifestyle or events is preferred.
- Experience creating content for both B2C and B2B audiences is an advantage.
- Professional proficiency in Local Language and English required.
- French is an advantage.
- Strong creative storytelling skills, with the ability to develop engaging hooks and translate product information into clear, relatable video content.
- Proficiency in filming, lighting and audio capture, with the ability to adapt equipment and techniques to different production environments.
- Strong video editing skills, including color correction, captioning, sound integration and basic motion graphics.
- Good understanding of social media formats, audience behavior, pacing and retention techniques, particularly for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Confident communication and directing skills, with the ability to guide non-professional talent and present naturally on camera.
- Strong planning and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple shoots, brands and delivery deadlines.
- High attention to detail when reviewing visual quality, subtitles, product information and brand requirements.
- Sound judgment when handling confidential information, filming permissions and content subject to internal approvals.
- Strong collaboration skills and openness to feedback, with the ability to translate stakeholder input into effective revisions.
- Effective digital asset organization and file management skills to support content reuse and efficient production.
