Role Description The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing concepts, preparing mood boards, and producing layout and material proposals for residential and small commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with space planning, selecting finishes and furnishings, drafting drawings and elevations, and helping prepare presentations for client meetings. The role also involves coordinating with vendors, documenting project specifications, conducting site visits, and supporting project follow-up to ensure design intent is maintained. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Beirut Governorate, Lebanon, working closely with senior designers and project managers.
Qualifications
- Foundational skills in interior design, including space planning, color theory, and materials selection.
- Ability to create and interpret floor plans, elevations, and basic technical drawings using design or drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
- Strong visual communication skills, such as preparing mood boards, presentations, and simple 3D visualizations.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and vendors.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality throughout the design and documentation process.
- Willingness to conduct site visits, take measurements, and support on-site coordination as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in current interior design trends and a proactive attitude toward learning and professional growth.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage for local client communication.
