Role Description The Hydraulic Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Doha Metropolitan Area, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing hydraulic systems on heavy and mobile equipment. Daily tasks include inspecting hydraulic components, diagnosing faults, performing troubleshooting, and completing corrective and preventive maintenance. The role involves reading technical diagrams, selecting appropriate parts and tools, and ensuring all work complies with company procedures and safety regulations. The Hydraulic Technician will document work performed, coordinate with supervisors and other technicians, and provide input on system improvements to reduce downtime. The position also requires maintaining a clean and safe work area and occasionally supporting field service work at customer sites.
Qualifications
* Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving issues in hydraulic systems and related equipment.
* Hands-on experience working with hydraulic systems, including installation, adjustment, and component replacement.
* Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and systems, with the ability to perform accurate maintenance and repair tasks.
* Experience in mobile hydraulics, including diagnostics and service for equipment used in construction, transport, or industrial settings.
* Understanding of preventive maintenance practices and repair methodologies for hydraulic and mechanical systems.
* Relevant technical diploma or certification in hydraulics, mechanical engineering, or a closely related field.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, service manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
* Commitment to workplace safety, including proper use of tools, PPE, and adherence to safety procedures.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse technical team.
* Previous experience in an industrial, construction, or heavy equipment environment in the Gulf region is an advantage.
