DescriptionJob PurposeTo provide operational support in designing, developing, and deploying high-end graphics, visuals, videos, and other multimedia assets, including interactive and accessible digital learning experiences,.
Job Responsibilities*Operational*
- Responsible for art direction and graphic/visual/multimedia design for all projects including conceptualisation, design, production, completion and delivery as per business requirement.
- Work closely and collaboratively with different internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, instructional designers, learning consultants and external partners for Graphics/Visual/Multimedia-intensive projects.
- Development of complex graphics assets including concept and visual design, graphic user interface, complex illustrations, animations and simulations to support business requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring all artefacts comply with company’s brand identity standards and guidelines to safeguard brand integrity.
- Apply accessible and inclusive design practices in line with recognised standards (e.g. colour contrast, legible typography, captions and alternative text) and provide guidance for continuous improvement through research and networking.
- Interprets business requirements and develops concepts to suit specific visual/graphic/multimedia guidelines while working within budget constraints.
- Conduct regular quality reviews and audits of deliverables to ensure alignment with industry best practices, internal standards, learning design principles and documented processes.
- Collaborate with Employee Experience and corporate communications team to support delivery channels, campaigns and launch materials for learning initiatives and employee facing communications.
- Provide creative consultation and visual storytelling support during learning solution design phases.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
Additional Accountabilities
- * Support learning management system (LMS) team periodically to develop and enhance user interface and experience of the in-house LMS.
- Provide guidance, coaching and knowledge transfer to Qatari Nationals interns and junior team members to build internal capability in graphic design, multimedia production and digital learning development.
- Support development of video, motion graphics, podcasts, and multimedia communication assets for learning initiatives.
- Explore and apply emerging tools, including AI-assisted design, video and audio technologies, responsibly and in line with company policies, to improve productivity, turnaround time and quality of internal multimedia deliverables.

Qualification
About YouBachelor's Degree or Equivalent without prior experience
Essential
- * Must have relevant qualifications in graphic design, advertising or related discipline
- Relevant professional experience in graphic, visual or multimedia design
- Strong working knowledge of Mac/Windows platform
- Strong working knowledge of industry-standard design and multimedia software, including Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and collaborative design tools such as Figma
- Demonstrable experience in managing and developing graphics/visual/multimedia intensive digital learning solutions from concept through to final output
Preferred
- * Experience in working in a multicultural environment
- Demonstrated complete operational understanding of:
- Colour Theory and Colour Relationships
- Typographic terms that identify type forms and specifications required for typographic settings
- Perspective and space relationships
- Page composition and grid structures
- Print production process and knowledge of production techniques of print and digital media
- Photography and the photographic process
- User and user experience (UI/UX) interface design
- Knowledge of videography fundamentals, including framing, lighting, audio considerations and camera operation
- Hands on experience with generative AI tools for image, video, animation and voice-over production (e.g. Adobe Firefly, Microsoft Copilot or similar), with the ability to refine AI outputs to meet brand and quality standards
- Ability to integrate AI into the design workflow for ideation, rapid prototyping, asset variations and localisation, including effective prompt writing
- Awareness of responsible AI use, including copyright and licensing of AI generated content, data privacy and brand safety considerations
- Experience designing mobile first and short form content, including vertical video formats
- A strong portfolio (online link preferred) showcasing graphic, motion and digital learning work, ready for review upon request
