Position Overview
We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineering Manager / Ground Engineering Director to lead geotechnical engineering strategies, technical delivery, and ground engineering projects. This senior role will provide technical leadership while working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams to deliver safe and effective engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- * Lead geotechnical engineering teams and ground engineering projects.
- Oversee site investigations, technical assessments, and engineering design.
- Review foundation, soil, rock, slope stability, and ground improvement solutions.
- Provide technical direction and guidance on complex engineering challenges.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and technical deliverables.
- Review engineering reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Identify technical and project risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Support business development, technical proposals, and client relationships.
- Mentor engineers and promote strong engineering standards and practices.
Requirements
- * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in geotechnical or ground engineering.
- Strong knowledge of foundations, soil mechanics, slope stability, and ground improvement.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams and complex projects.
- Strong technical, commercial, and project management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional engineering certification or chartered status is preferred.
